Community Volunteer Awards

Each year, the Council recognizes outstanding contributions to the community in various categories ranging from business to faith leadership. The prestigious "Rancho Cordovan of the Year" award can honor an exceptional contribution to the community during the year or over a lifetime.

- 2026: March Volunteer Madness
CRITERIA:
- The actions of the nominee have inspired others to be active in their neighborhood or community or are an exceptional example of civic engagement.
- The actions of the nominee have advanced values of the Cordova Community Council of volunteerism, promotion of Rancho Cordova as a "great hometown," good sportsmanship, citizenship and healthy lifestyles.
- "Rancho Cordovan of the Year" may reflect a significant achievement in 2024 or may be considered a "lifetime achievement" award.

- Nominations are open from through January 31, 2026 by 5 pm.
